Modern manor house, Dorset

Here we have the opportunity to develop a garden over time. This is one part of a larger garden that was screaming to be updated. The old koi pond, bridge, decking and hot tub dominated what was a reasonably large space part shaded by a magnificent copper beech tree. We decided to level the space into a cohesive garden with seating area and borders. A reflective water bowl and fire pit bring in birds and light and warmth at night. This is where we experiment with ideas, materials and furniture. Amongst other things we have learnt to get the absolute maximum from a limited budget while still creating a space with style.
